Exterior visualization

Exterior visualization is an integral part of presentations of building architectural projects; transport infrastructure and garden or town zone landscaping plans in particular.

From the point of view of processing difficulty, the exterior visualization has an advantage of more simple illumination – using one source of light – the sun and one additional source – the sky. In contrast to the interior visualizations or product visualizations, it is much more demanding due to its large scope, and complexity resulting from the necessity to model the entire environment including the potentially high-polygonal objects such as trees, grass and vegetation.

The basic form of exterior visualization is pasting the object – photomontage – of e.g. a house into a photo. In such a case, it is necessary to set the view on the object – to fine tune the perspective parameters and camera positions, the so called "camera match". Another essential parameter of this visualization type is to illuminate the object so that it completely corresponds to the light from the original photo.
